Wow ! Time flies! The 4 issue series Insane Jane that I colored is already over with and the 2nd issue of N-GUARD (that I inked and colored) will be out next month. Here'a a brief synopsis.

Following the events of issue 1, Boon and the team are faced with a graver situation… The SpiderSect Empire has discovered the potential whereabouts of the Nature’s Guard. Mother Nature sends the team on a race to find the Nature’s Guard before Grandsilk Weaver. Will they make it in time, or are darker threats from their past scheming against them?

DEL MAR FAIR 2008

This was my other photo that made it into the fair. Titled "Days of Yore". It won an Honorable Mention.
I also entered it in the Photographers Forum Magazine contest and so far it has made the finals and will be published in the hardcover edition of Best of Photography Annual 2008. If it places in the top 4 or receives an Honorable mention it will also be published in the Photographers Forum Magazine.

DELMAR FAIR 2008

Decided to enter the DEL MAR FAIR this year.
I entered 3 photos and 2 of them were selected for the fair. This photo was taken of the BYODO-IN TEMPLE in Hawaii. It is a replica of the original in Japan.

Fist of Justice #2 - Switch-a-roo!

Fist of Justice #2 was originally solicited with a Captain America homage cover (which originally was slated as a variant for #1, seen in a previous posting). Anthony found out that a female version of FOJ was being introduced so he whipped out this new cover.
The homage cover will be reserved for the FOJ trade paperback collection at some point in time.
Fist of Justice #2 will hit comic shops on June 11th. Grab a copy!

Photography Laureates Finalist

I took this photo during Spring Break in Florida this year and entered it in "Photography Laureates" photo contest. It was also chosen as a finalist and will be published in their "Photography Anthology" this year. This is part of the email I received from them. "Kyrta Reeve and John Warton, our 2 editors, have reviewed your photograph The Swamps and have selected it for its asymmetric composition and light mix used throughout.Your photograph was selected out of hundreds of competing entries and you will be published along with other talented photographers. "

CANYON X PHOTOS

Been a while since my last post. Been really swamped with comic work. I'd like to post some of the work but those darn non-disclosure clauses untill publication prevents that.
Anyways, I took 3 days off for a photo safari in Arizona with my daughter Krystal. Now these I can post.
The one on the left was taken at Canyon X, one of the slot canyons in Arizona. I entered it in "Photography Laureates" photo contest and it was chosen as a finalist and will be published in their "Photography Anthology" this year. We also went to the Grand Canyon and to the Redwoods in Sedona. Some of the other photos can be seen at my Arizona Shoot page.
